Gabe Richesson, born in Weston, Missouri, developed a distinct artistic style at a very early age.

Eventually finding his niche within the Lowbrow culture, Richesson's work often contains surreal, cartoon-like images centered around the underground movement. His art reflects his free spirited-style, with the use of bright colors, psychedelic imagery and whimsical characters.

In recent years, Richesson's love and affinity for sports has found him a place in the custom portrait world. Richesson has been commissioned time and time again to create colorful, intricately detailed portraits for many celebrated sports professionals.

As a painter, illustrator and designer, Richesson has continued to grow and flourish as an artist through his life experiences and visual imagery.

Richesson attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and received a B.A. in Fine Arts while making time to play football. He went on to receive a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institue of Dallas in Dallas, Texas. After serving as the Art Director at Beckett Publications, Richesson continues his portrait and illustration work as freelance Graphic Designer and currently resides in Tempe, Arizona.
